well well..

finally after a long debate, admist chaos both political and personal.. we r finally on the path to going to a trip to phuket.. haha

many thnks to our highest one edwyn... who did everything

yup so 13-17th of dec, i shall b gone n in the land of the thais.. n hopefully things will not turn out to be that bad.. i hope..

white water rafting, kayaking, suntanning n spa here we come!

anyway went to watch City of Ember with SJI peeps ytd.. yar.. personally it was an ok show.. i find nothing wrong with it actually.. haha... just tat it was abit dull tats all..
of course kl was insulting it like dun know wad.. n i guess after a while of listening to him insulting the show, u just cant help but feel that the show sucks.. hha

such is the influence of kl.. haha =P

the movie was at bugis btw.. surprisely bumped into Gen n Chase.. haha.. classmates of sajc.. well bumped into will b a mild ver. of putting it.. gen being gen screamed.. n gave me a shock.. haha.. it is not everyday u see ppl screaming .. n i m sure she scared a few unknown ppl around her too.. haha.. chase well being chase was more civil.. haha!

caught up with them quite abit.. n well was reminded by them that yar there is going to b a 05s53 class outing soon.. lolz

kk told me it will b at sentosa.. n well gross feeling comes.. but oh well.. we shall see yar?
i tink its on the 6th of dec.. so i orded liao.. hehe can go there n show off my ic.. haha

wellz... i hav new for u ppl..

I got my SPORE DRIVING LICENSE LIAOZZZZ....

lolz the gd thing i got it for almost free.. why? coz i m required to drive in the vocation tat i m in for SAF.. so yup clocked the fucking 7000km mileage n so convert the SAF driving license to civilian just today.. haha

and its almost free.. coz still got to pay 50bucks
but oh wellz.. its better than 1-2 thousand bucks i guess. haha

anywayz.. i always tot it was quite stupid that we got to convert our SAF driving license.. afterall dun we all drive along the same road.. face same irritating drivers tat like to torment we 50km/h moving 'tanks'.. haha

not to mention we drove those rather huge buses for ops too
which is btw actually a class4 veh..

but yar.. somehow the govt being govt just likes to make NSFs lives hard.. so got to fulfil 7000km requirement wit no accidents.. then they give u the civilian license.. haha..
not to mention ask u to pay 50bucks for the license

its a conspiracy.. haha

The Logic of Emoing

well.. i bring u to dearest readers.. another series of self-discussion entry..
it might not b as long as the last one.. but bear wit it, it is not short either.

of course theres a solution to the problem of long entries...
dun read them.. if u dun wan to.. =)
but i know u all just cant help but read it.. so as to pick out snippets of writing n twist it to your evil means.. hahaha..

for the record.. these are just my thinking.. they r not directed at any single person.. they r more or less gathered from my daily life's exp.. so dun read too much into it

Now of later years, when u are feeling down, pulling a black face, just plain like not talking to anyone or just wanting to reflect on your life, the term EMO wld b used on u... hence things like:

he is emoing now...
he emo one corner liao...
gosh emooooooo!

yup, i m sure u r all familar with all those sayings of emo. as u can probably tell, nowadays due to some weird trend in society, emoing is well considered a negative thing, sometimes even considered weird or irritating...

ppl will bitch abt other ppl who emo too much.. esp when the emo-ness spoils the mood of something that shld b happy. even worst are ppl who emo becoz of no reason, n then expect others to emo along with them. the typical, if i cant b happy, none of u shld b happy. and then there r the emo ppl who will just snap at others when they r emoing. n also the most irritating ones are those who emo for the sake of attention. Now with so many negative examples of emoing, it is no wonder ppl of today just cant stand it... n deem it a bad thing..

but is it?

frankly personally speaking.. everyone emos.. i tink no matter how cheery u put yrself to be, that will come a time where u just feel emo-ish n there is really nothing wrong with that. we r humans afterall u know!. Emoing in a form of reflection is fine by me i feel... i mean i do that somettimes when things dun go my way.. i reflect on my rather pathetic life, get abit depressed n sad.. then work it out then get back on my feet n b happy again. in the time of reflection, yes i can b seen as emoing... but u see its how u 'process' your emoing that matters.

here r a few ways to 'process' your emoing so tat ppl wun find u weird:
- find a trusted fren to talk, bitch, laugh abt it
- seriously go to a hidden corner n work out your issue b4 returning to the real world
- let everyone know u got issue and wanna b left alone (not really recommended but yarr.)

humans are by nature helpful n very gossipy creature (lolz) .. so if u really need help from a fren. i m sure he or she will help u out, probably will spread to other frens but i m sure they n u wil hav a laugh of it later. so if u r emoing n really wanna to get rid of your emo-ness.. talk to a fren.. or if u feel wad u r thinking abt is not for frens' ears.. then dun let your frens know.. but do vanish from the world for a while.. regen abit then come back..

spare us the melodramatics

personally i tink the tallking to fren method works best.. afterall as frens we unload buckets of shit onto one another yes? =P

now the interesting parts...
the ppl who give emoing a bad name..
the ppl who emo for the sake of emoing

these r the guys who emo for attention.. emo to take it out on ppl... emo for no particular reasons.. very irritating
i pity the frens of such ppl.. u got to keep asking them the reasons of the emo-ness.. n u know wads the best part, they will nvr tell u!.. they will say things like 'oh i m fine..' and then the next moment start to snap ppl heads off.. or they will say things like 'its ok.. i wanna be alone.' and when u really leave them alone.. they come n emo saying 'why u ignore me just now?' ...

yes ridiculous rite? n u know wads more ridiculous? these kind of ppl can b males too..

not only does it ozzes of gay-ness if the person is a guy.. it is also very irritating and usually leaves the concerned fren rather baffled...

so u see if u look at it more carefully.. these ppl dun really wan to get rid of their emo-ness. they used it.. as a tool.. a tool for wad? well i not too sure either.. to get more frens mayb, to rise their self-esteem.. or to get more popular..

i dun know.. suffice to say. some ppl r just quite weird..

and finally i tink the worst thing u can do if u r emoing.. is to emo over a small matter.. aka emo for no particular reason.. wad does a small matter mean? well like mayb losing a dota game, not being in the same grp as your grp of frens, not able to eat tgt with your frens or not able to have 100% of your fren's time...

haha.. i know the last one sounds gay.. but its exists.. trust me =)
when u emo over such a small matter.. ppl tend to just ignore u.. afterall wads the big deal? then to make it even more ridiculous, the emo-ed person starts to throw a fix.. starts to accuse ppl of very very ridiculous things.. or blame ppl for every other thing... once again its usually the frens of the emo guy whu suffers coz they will probably b the closest to him n hence have to suffer the drama..

the most funny thing is these guys emo in the public.. letting everyone see them emoing... or rather scolding their frens.. my god.. hav they no shame? .. haha do they not know they appear like small children throwing a tantrum? it can get irritating n can spoil the mood of an event too.

bottomline though.. try not to emo too much.. coz emoing too much can b bad too

yar so dun emo too often.. be happy!
i mean how wld u like to spent your time wit someone who is emo-ish 75% of the time..

k the offs n leaves r finally kicking in.. best part is i dun hav to do anymore 'magic' offs for ppl.. or cover up like a dun know wad..coz the new sgt n the new pc/ops wo are such gd frens of us.. haha.. the perks of being the Off IC i guess..

so today was the day.. ppl go to Qs hse for his belated bday party at his rather large hse..

met ed n ger after my morning thing.. at ps.. where we suppose to go to qs hse at 3pm plus.. but turn out dun need to rush, coz he dun need our help n anyway he was wowing.. so yar..

anyway in the end we reached his hse at 5pm.. n well the sagging started loh..
then the juniors of sji came.. though there was not much interaction at first .. haha..

then sag .. sagggggged

n then the dinner started...
overal it was ok lah.. food n all.. quite number funny things happened..
like ger saying his ridiculous things.. n weird n funny stuff
n ed being his usual bitchy self..

n yes even the juniors seem to b quite the wtf-ish...

n yes i did make a small english mistake.. i said buffered instead of baffled.. but at least i corrected myself..
although ed will probably give a very distorted ver. of things ar

oh playing bridge was nice too with kenny luzhi n ger..
wld hav liked to tok more to arthur n ibra.. but oh wellz.. the situation was just not right.. haha

anyway ar one more thing.. qs invited his whole squad.. slut din bother saying us.. so weird-ness dominated loh.. haha.. alot alot of malay.. say wad i said to edwyn.. i tink i see more malays in his hse then during my whole stay in NS.. haha..

and of course he was busy earning frenship pt.. haha.. since even his OC was there.. but oh wellz.. ppl like us will just move to one side..

cutting the ice cream cake was funny.. though.... using choppers, cleaver to cut it. lolz..
